Raeve is an assassin working for a rebellion, tasked with completing her orders without being caught. After a rival bounty hunter upends her life, she is captured by the Guild of Nobles, a group of powerful fae, and held in the capital's high-security prison. Kaan Vaegor, a dragon rider grieving a lost love, took a king's crown for his own and follows a clue to that same prison, where he encounters the imprisoned Raeve. Together they pursue truths that challenge what they believed about their world and each other.
