Community rules
A reading room for everyone. Seven simple rules.
The Huld is made by readers. These rules keep it a place where everyone can choose their next world safely.
The seven rules
Be kind
Disagree with a book, never with a reader. Critique the story, not the person.
Tag your spoilers
Anything past the first chapters goes behind a spoiler tag, with the book it spoils.
No harassment
No threats, slurs, pile-ons or targeting authors or readers.
Honest contributions only
Add only what you know from reading the book. Never guess, never copy someone else’s text.
No promotion or spam
No ads, referral links or review swaps. Authors may share facts about their own books via the editors.
Respect privacy
Never share someone else’s personal details or private messages.
The editors decide
Editors can hide content, remove contributions and pause accounts. You can always ask why.
How reporting works
- 1. Use “Something wrong?” on any book detail, review or profile.
- 2. An editor reads every report. Your name is never shown to the person you report.
- 3. We hide, correct or keep the content and tell you what happened in your notifications.
- 4. Repeated or serious breaks can pause an account and roll back its contributions.
