A young woman flees the cruelty of her father, the reviled king, and finds herself caught between a rebellion and the tyrant's reign. Captured by rebels who are unaware that she is the king's missing daughter, she must choose between joining their cause or facing their blades. Complicating matters is Dacre, the son of the rebellion's commander, who is torn between distrust and attraction.
