AboutReadersEditions

Kestrel has trained her life to compete in the Tarot Trials, the contest her mother once won to earn a place among the five ruling Cinque, only to later be executed for alleged treason against the Minor Court. Taking up her mother's mantle as Champion of the Moon, Kestrel enters the Trials to master her new powers of shadow and illusion, navigate deadly alliances, and confront the Champion responsible for her mother's death, seeking the truth without losing her life or her heart.
