The North Wind

In a land called the Gray, frozen for three centuries and shielded from the Deadlands by a weakening barrier known as the Shade, a mortal woman named Wren of Edgewood becomes bound in marriage to the dark immortal who rules beyond the barrier. He is the North Wind, the Frost King, one of the Four Winds banished to the corners of the world. The story, drawing on Greek lore and fairy-tale inspirations, follows the strained relationship between the captive bride and the cold god as the fate of her homeland hangs in the balance.
