The Exquisite Torment of Loving Your Enemy

In this second entry of the Dearly Beloathed series, Osric, a member of the Fyren Order of assassins, repeatedly bribes Aurienne, a scholar-healer of the Haelan Order sworn to harm no one, to heal him under cover of each full moon. Their secret arrangement draws them into a reluctant and forbidden attraction, even as they uncover evidence that a deliberately unleashed plague ravaging the Tiendoms may be the work of an even more dangerous Order. As the threat grows, the fragile balance between peace and war, and between their enmity and feelings, is tested.
