Somewhere Beyond the Sea

This second book in the Cerulean Chronicles follows Arthur Parnassus, headmaster of an orphanage for magical children on a remote island. Alongside his partner Linus Baker, the island sprite Zoe Chapelwhite, and mayor Helen Webb, he works to protect and adopt the six children in his care. When Arthur is called to publicly address his difficult past and a new child seeks to join the household, the family faces challenges that test their bonds and draw them into a broader struggle for the rights of magical people.
