Powerful

A companion novella (book 1.5) in The Powerless Trilogy, this story follows Adena after her friend Paedyn, an Ordinary, is selected for the deadly Purging Trials. Left alone in the slums of Loot, Adena struggles to survive and, after a failed theft, is helped by a mysterious man named Mak whose secretive power and hidden past mark him as unusual among the low-level Elites. The two join forces on a quest to reach their loved ones before the Trials, a journey that challenges their loyalty and bonds.
