Paladin's Hope

In a city where the dead are examined for the guard's investigations, a lich-doctor named Piper is called to inspect a series of strangely mangled bodies pulled from the river. He becomes entangled in the search for an unknown killer alongside Galen, a paladin whose god has died and left him unmoored, and a gnole constable. As Galen takes on the task of protecting Piper amid the dangers they encounter, the two men navigate the investigation together.
