Mate

Serena Paris is an orphaned, pack-less woman who is the first known Human-Were hybrid. Her public reveal, meant to mend a long-standing rift between species, instead makes her a target amid the political conflicts among Weres, Vampyres, and Humans. Seeking protection, she turns to Koen Alexander, Alpha of the Northwest pack, who considers her his mate and is determined to keep her safe even though she does not return his feelings. As threats mount from rival factions and from her own past, Koen may be all that stands between her and destruction.
