Legendborn

A Black teenager named Bree enters a residential program for high schoolers at UNC–Chapel Hill, where she witnesses a magical attack and learns of a secret society of students who descend from King Arthur's knights and hunt demonic creatures. After a mage's failed attempt to erase her memory unlocks her own magic and a buried recollection tied to her mother's death, Bree infiltrates the society to uncover the truth. She allies with a self-exiled member, and together they are drawn deeper into the group's secrets and an approaching magical war.
