Good Intentions

Set thirteen years after a devastating war left a wall dividing surviving states from destroyed ones, this dystopian paranormal romance follows River, a young woman with mysterious abilities who is taken beyond the wall against her will. There she discovers a reality more frightening than she imagined, pursued by both humans and demons wanting to understand her power, while finding herself drawn to someone she knows she should avoid. The other perspective belongs to Kobal, a non-human figure on a longstanding mission to reclaim his throne from Lucifer, who risks everything because of his attraction to the human who may be central to his goal. It is the first of four books in a completed series, and not all threads are resolved within this volume.
