Set in the modern city of Olympus, this contemporary romance follows Psyche, who becomes the target of Aphrodite's wrath, and Eros, Aphrodite's son, who is ordered to kill her. Unable to carry out the task, Eros marries Psyche to protect her, and the two navigate a reluctant union in which loyalties and feelings begin to shift. It is the second entry in the Dark Olympus series and draws on Greek mythology.
