Dawn of the North

The third book in the Viking-inspired Ashen series set in the Kingdom of Íseldur. The lost Volsik heir, Silla, works to win the loyalty of the northern jarls and unseat Ivar Ironheart from the throne, all while concealing that a shard of a god resides in her mind and influences her. Meanwhile, her sister Saga is held captive on the isle of Zagadka and faces a difficult choice when King Ivar turns his attention to the Zagadkian people. As a poisonous mist spreads across the realm, the sisters explore their magic to confront the rising darkness.
