The second book in the Shadow Bound Queen series follows Reyna, who is held captive by a shadow-fae Prince in the Shadow Court. As dangers converge—undead monsters, an unstable Queen, magical curses, and buried secrets—Reyna is forced to work alongside the Prince, whose reputation as a monster does not match what she comes to learn about him. Both characters conceal aspects of their true selves as the threats around them intensify. The story draws on Norse mythology and centers on magic, mystery, and building romantic tension.
