The concluding volume of the Infernal Devices trilogy. As the inventor Mortmain closes in on the Shadowhunters of the London Institute with his army of mechanical automatons, he seeks a final component for his plan: Tessa Gray. When Tessa is taken, the two young men who both love her, Will and Jem, set out to rescue her, while Charlotte Branwell races to stop Mortmain. Tessa must also confront her own power and decide her fate.
