Set roughly three months after the fall of Cyrus, this sixth entry in the Crave series follows a young heroine who now leads the Gargoyle Court while the supernatural Circle of courts is collapsing—the Vampire Court without a king and the Dragon Court in disarray. As a new threat emerges, she returns to the Shadow Realm to bargain with its dangerous queen in an effort to save a friend, bringing her allies and Hudson along, though Hudson is concealing a secret of his own. A prior debt owed to the Crone comes due, placing many lives at risk.
