A descendant of the Chinese god of medicine, Elle works below her abilities as a magical calligrapher at a fairy temp agency, hiding from a dangerous younger brother and concealing her true skills to avoid detection. She secretly strengthens the glyphs of Luc, a half-elf security expert and her client, who carries his own secret burden tied to a past assignment. When their work brings them closer, their growing connection is complicated by Elle's loyalty to her family and Luc's binding obligations, forcing both to weigh difficult sacrifices.
