A Sorceress Comes to Call

Cordelia lives under the control of her mother, a sorcerer whose household rules forbid privacy, friendship, and even movement at her command. When her mother relocates them to the manor of a wealthy older Squire and his perceptive sister, Hester, Cordelia comes to see the pair as targets of her mother's scheme. Finding warmth and belonging for the first time, she must decide how to confront the woman who raised her in order to protect her new found family. A fairy-tale-inspired dark fantasy.
