In a reimagined modern New Greece where gods and mortals coexist, Hades, God of the Underworld, rules through strict bargains and runs night clubs. When the Fates designate Persephone, Goddess of Spring and an ambitious journalism student, as his destined wife and queen, the two clash. Persephone is set on exposing Hades for his reputation, even as an attraction grows between them, while outside forces work to keep the pair apart. This retelling presents the Hades and Persephone myth from Hades's perspective.
