A Fire Endless

The second and concluding volume of the Elements of Cadence duology returns to the Isle of Cadence, a land divided between the eastern Tamerlaine and western Breccan clans, and between humans and elemental spirits. When Bane, the spirit of the North Wind, seeks dominion over both realms, the balance of the isle is thrown into disarray. In the East, the healer Sidra searches for a cure to a sickness spreading through the orchards while her husband Torin, now clan leader, ventures into the spirits' realm for answers. In the West, Adaira adapts to Breccan life as the clan and its spirits suffer under Bane's growing power. Jack takes up his harp and crosses the clan line to reunite with Adaira and uncover a mystery that could restore peace. Confronting the North Wind, however, may demand a heavy sacrifice.
