Set in the universe of Priory of the Orange Tree, this epic fantasy follows four women across different realms as an age of terror begins. Tunuva Melim is a longtime sister of the Priory trained to fight wyrms; in the Queendom of Inys, Queen Sabran has married the King of Hroth while their daughter Glorian lives in their shadow; and in the East, Dumai has spent her life in a mountain temple trying to wake sleeping gods.
